Horno Beiro 2

Modelo realizado por los alumnos del Grado de Arqueología de la UGR y Alexis Maldonado Ruiz.

Horno de planta cuadrangular, en el que la parrilla estaba sostenida por tres o cuatro arcos simples. El praefurnium, de planta irregular, estaba excavado en la tierra y revestido en su interior por un muro de ladrillos y una bóveda de adobes.

Durante su excavación se identificaron dos praefurnia, que fueron relacionados con sendas fases de uso.

Tradicionalmente ha sido asociado con la fabricación de terra sigillata.
