Leyre Morgado-Roncal

Investigadora contrada predoctoral (FPU) en el Departamento de Prehistoria y Arqueología de la Universidad de Granada

Formación académica

Graduada en Arqueología por la Universidad de Granada; visiting Student en The University of Edinburgh (2017-2018) con el Programa Erasmus+ y máster de Arqueología por la UGR. A lo largo de su joven trayectoria académica ha sido beneficiaria de diversas becas de iniciación a la investigación: Plan Propio de la UGR (modalidad Grado y Máster) y beca de colaboración del Ministerio. Su excelencia académica ha sido premiada con galardones como: el Premio a la Excelencia en la Internacionalización (2019, Plan Propio UGR) o la Ayuda al Talento del estudiantado de la UGR para iniciación a la investigación (2022, Consejo Social UGR). En la actualidad tiene un contrato FPU con el que desarrolla su tesis doctoral “Textrina emeritensis. Estudio arqueológico del ciclo productivo textil y su artesanado”.

Actividad investigadora

Su línea de investigación se centra especialmente en la Arqueología Textil y Arqueología de la Producción en Hispania a través de los instrumenta textilia, espacios productivos, iconografía, tejidos arqueológicos, el artesanado, entre otros vestigios. Desde 2022 imparte docencia en la Universidad de Granada como parte de su contrato.

Destaca también su proyección internacional que le ha llevado a estudiar en el extranjero y a recibir becas de formación, por ejemplo, Programa Arqus con el cuál viajó a la Università di Padova (2021). Es miembro de GAECATO (HUM 296), the EAA (European Association of Archaeologist), EuroWeb’s project (Europe Through Textiles) y COMTEXT (Community for Textile Archaeology and Conservation).
